James Kakalios (2013 event)
Hollywood physicist James Kakalios might have one of the best jobs in the world. As well as writing popular, highly accessible books about The Physics of Superheroes and The Amazing Story of Quantum Mechanics, he has also acted as consultant on movies such as Watchmen and The Amazing Spider-Man to make sure Hollywood gets its science right. In this event, recorded live at the 2013 Edinburgh International Book Festival, he gives an inspiring introductory lesson to quantum physics with an engaging and witty commentary along the way.
